2009 FLHRC Road King Classic

1)      Remove saddle bag, then seat, then components.

2)      Remove battery cover

3)      Test battery

4)      Remove negative battery cable

5)      Remove positive battery cable

6)      Slip red boot over positive battery cable

7)      Install Sure Start on positive battery cable

8)      Mount Sure Start on tank side of battery

9)      Put boot over blue extension cable

10)      Attach blue cable (loop under Sure Start)

11)      Attach negative Sure Start lead to negative battery terminal

12)      Reinstall battery cover

13)      Reattach motorcycle components

14)      Install Sure Start switch in hole on frame ( left side 3” to 4” behind fuel tank)

15)      Tuck and zip tie additional switch wire in battery compartment

16)      Check green flashing light on Sure Start

17)      Reinstall seat

18)      Reinstall saddle bag
